John Prendergast, Founding Director, The Enough Project; Co-Founder, The Sentry


John Prendergast is a human rights activist and New York Times best-selling author who has focused on peace in Africa for over thirty years. He is the founding director of the Enough Project, an initiative to end genocide and crimes against humanity. He is also the co-founder of The Sentry, a new investigative initiative focused on dismantling the networks financing conflict and atrocities.


Prendergast has worked for the Clinton White House, the State Department, two members of Congress, the National Intelligence Council, UNICEF, Human Rights Watch, the International Crisis Group, and the US Institute of Peace.


Prendergast also serves as Executive Director of Not On Our Watch, the foundation founded by George Clooney, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, and Brad Pitt.

Mistress of Ceremonies: Amy Lange, Fox2 News Investigative Reporter

AmyLange headshot web Amy Lange is an Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter. From politics to courts to social issues, Lange's reporting has allowed her to cover some of the most important stories of our time.  Passionate about the issue of homelessness, she has won Emmy awards for her reporting in Haiti, and her work on children in the state foster care system.  Her work on homeless veterans was recognized with an Edward R Murrow Regional Award. She has also received awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Michigan Association of Broadcasters and the Associated Press.
