Keynote: Noah Gottschalk, Associate Director for Campaigns & Public Mobilization, International Rescue Committee

 

Noah Gottschalk is Associate Director for Campaigns & Public Mobilization at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where he works to engage constituencies across the country to take action in support of refugees, asylum seekers, and conflict-affected people. He previously worked on global humanitarian policy issues at Oxfam for nearly a decade, and has spent much of his career living and working in complex crises in the Middle East and Africa, focusing on the impact of conflict on families and communities. 

 

In addition to advocacy work, Gottschalk’s experience includes managing humanitarian programs and providing legal assistance to refugees, asylum seekers, IDPs, and immigrants. 

 

His analysis has appeared in numerous media outlets including National Public Radio, BBC World Service, Al Jazeera, Politico, the New York Times. He holds an MA in International Human Rights Law from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies and a BS in International Politics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
